Nike Maxims Experience at Prefontaine Hall

Transforming permanent spaces on the Nike campus for long-term, temporary exhibits involves many stakeholders, competing needs, and at times, conflicting interests — the most minor of which has the potential to put the entire project at risk. Add to this mix a compressed timeline and a design still in motion, and what originally seems like a straightforward environmental graphics and experiential fabrication project can present real complexity.

Flexibility. The Figure Plant team knows that initiatives like this aren’t always linear in their development — and sometimes the airplane needs to be built while flying. Through thoughtful scoping and budgeting, impeccable communication, and our outstanding fabrication and installation team, we navigated design changes, building constraints, and even unexpected municipal requirements to get this custom installation across the finish line. We brought this experience to life inside Prefontaine Hall at the Nike Campus in Beaverton, delivering a solution that balanced design intent, real-world constraints, and long-term durability.

A beautifully executed display that not only respects the existing furnishings and finishes, but effectively supports Nike’s foundational principles – helping the organization communicate its “rally cry” for employees and guests through a cohesive, high-impact experiential environment.
